The initial idea for Conductor took form after seeing the real need for a program that could help integrate all aspects of a training program. We discovered that the great majority of training administrators were also human resource managers. And most of them had been searching in vain for an integrated program which could track basic human resource data, catalog training materials, create and assign custom courses, and serve as an electronic role and grade book.

The few products already on the market were either very limited in capability, or very difficult to use. It's easy to end up spending a lot of money for a program designed several years ago by people who only speak programming language. We wanted to create a training administration program that is powerful yet easy to use and understand. We are confident we have succeeded.

Conductor takes advantage of the power and user-friendly nature of today's 32-bit computer technology. Students can view their curricula and take computer-based training modules from any workstation on a LAN. Administrators have password-protected access to a centralized database of training records. Sage consulted with forward-thinking companies in training, manufacturing and health care to help make Conductor the total package for training administration.
